Very impressive aircraft. I see them fly into Burbank , California airport about 1-3 times a month. I see them flying with the two Marine One helicopters fly into Burbank every now and then as well whenever the President comes to town. Very cool sight to see the Presidential detail. There is usually two Ospreys in front then the two Marine One helicopters and two more ospreys flying in the back.

Why does the tail rotor stop during start-up, then spin in the opposite direction.

It is a marvel just seeing thing in motion... What skill it must take handle a bird like that, I don't know but it is impressive. (Along with engineering, test work, model, sketches, even blue print designers were probably scratching their heads saying "you want the engines where? with this size propeller blades, and pivot... WHY? go back home and have another one on me!!" LOL .... But two manufactures made it happed I guess Bell and Boeing...

I'm noticing a increased frequency of these aircraft crashing over the past 5 years, maybe it's time to develop a replacement to this troubled design

Hello everybody , Really beautiful , I see that the tail rotor on the other side of main rotor rotation

The 60 series Blackhawk and sea hawk have a wonderful vertical climb rate smooth quick and fun to fly.

I hope Afghanistan and China are enjoying these choppers we gave them. Thanks Joe👍
